Finding the perfect wedding dress can be a daunting task, there are just too many choices. The best way to start is have a budget in mind and stick to it – although you want to absolutely perfect on your wedding day you can quickly spend too much on what is a dress that you will hopefully wear only the once.

The first question you need to ask is is the wedding going to be formal or informal, if you are having an informal wedding you can appear over dressed and ruin your big day if you plumb for a dress that is to avante garde. The general rule of thumb is “less is more” or to put it another way simplicity with style.

If you are getting married in the winter your choice of wedding dress will be a completely different one to if you are having a summer wedding. You have to remember that although this will be your special day – you and hopefully lots of your family and friends will have photographs and video footage that will always be a point in time reminder. This will either haunt you or bring back fond memories.
